Monday Night League
League Fee Parameters:
Annual Fee = $60.00 per player
This is a Non Refundable amount. This amount will be used to secure teams and all Annual/ Initiation fees collected will be used to support the end of the year Banquet and Tournament.
Cost per League Night: Cost per night will be $25 for Non Members, $10 for Employees and Members for nine holes. Skins, CTP are included in the fees. Games will vary week to week.
A schedule of all dates for Monday Nights will be passed out on the League Meeting Night and via email. There will be 12 regular season events and 4 weeks of playoffs for the 2013 season. The first event will be held on April 15, 2013 Monday at 5:00pm. The Playoffs will begin right after the last week of the playoff. We also will have a end of the year banquet TBD.
League Points Calculation:
A totatl of 11 points can be earned by any given team per League Night.
9 points can be earned in a given match (1 Point Per Hole). If a hole is tied, each team will split a point earning ½ point for each side.
1 Point will be given for the Team Low Net (Total Team score minus Total Team Handicap)
1 Point will also be given to the Most Holes Won by a Team in the match.
If a team doesn’t show, they will recieve no points, however, the other team will have to play against par.
*Teams may organize a different day to play their match if either team will not be there on a specific day, but must let the league manager know.*
Events: The first three weeks will establish your handicap, hole everything out because we will not know the winners and losers until handicaps are computed. Your handicap will be computed with that round and can be adjusted by the league manager, each player will recieve 90% of thier nine hole handicap. This is to prevent any dishonesty and or “SANDBAGGING”. Handicaps can and will be changed if deemed necessary for a player or players
A players handicap may or may not change each event depending on what that player scores on any given night.
A Total of 64 players (32 Teams) will be accpeted for the Monday Night League. This is to ensure a Proper Pace of Play and enjoyable playing experience.
There will be a total of 16 teams per division
Monday Night League Outline:
Each event will begin at 5:00PM, every Monday Night with the exception of Memorial Day May 27, and July 1
Fees, Sign In and players should arrive at least fifteen to thirty minutes prior to the start
In case of Inclement Weather, the League will skip the rained out event and move to the next event on the schedule. Rainouts will not be made up
Registration and Sign In will be located in the Golf Shop at Cahoon Plantation. All League Members will report for appropriate fees at this area.
Playoffs will consist of the All Teams of each division and will play for the Monday Night League Championship.
